Leslie Laskey Scholarship

Sam Fox School

The Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis has announced a fundraising campaign to endow a scholarship for undergraduate students in Leslie Laskey’s name.

From the School’s official appeal to alumni:

As a tribute to Professor Laskey, the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts has established a scholarship in his name. Studio L, a group of Professor Laskey’s friends and former students, has joined the initiative to raise a minimum of $100,000* to endow the Leslie Laskey Scholarship for undergraduate architecture students.

Your support of the Leslie Laskey Scholarship will honor a monumentally talented teacher, artist, and friend. In addition, it will strengthen the Sam Fox School’s ability to help the most talented and creative students realize their potential to envision a better world, regardless of their financial circumstances. With this initiative to establish the Leslie Laskey Scholarship, Studio L and the Sam Fox School seek to sustain the legacy of one of architecture’s most admired teachers. Please join us in our efforts to ensure that Professor Laskey’s influence will continue to impact the educational experience of architecture students for generations to come.
